Job Description-:

JD- Executive Director- Strategy

Position Overview: The Director of Strategy in Financial Services will be responsible for developing,

communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding

of the financial services industry, including market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive

landscape. The Director of Strategy will work closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment of

strategic initiatives with the overall goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

· Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and market

share.

· This role will typically have day-to-day responsibility for supporƟ ng business

development and delivering engagements or major modules of large projects to

drive strategic transformaƟ ons.

a) This will entail developing corporate, business unit and digital strategy, guiding

organisaƟ ons to transform its capabiliƟ es across areas such as customer insight,

sales, markeƟ ng, product development, customer service and organizaƟ onal

structure.

· Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

· Formulate business strategies that align with the company’s vision, mission, and

long-term objectives.

2. Leadership and Team Development:

o Lead and mentor a team of strategy professionals.

o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.

o Develop capabilities within the team to support strategic initiatives.

3. Stakeholder Management:

o Engage with key stakeholders including senior executives, board members,

investors, and regulatory bodies.

o Communicate strategic plans and initiatives effectively across the organization.

o Build and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

o Establish metrics to monitor the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.

o Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and executive team.

o Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.

5. Financial Analysis and Risk Management:

o Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

o Identify and assess risks associated with strategic initiatives.

o Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable growth.

6. Innovation and Market Development:

o Identify and explore new business opportunities and markets.

o Drive innovation in products, services, and business models.

o Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive

activities.

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA

preferred.

· Prior Fintech/banking/insurance/lending /financial services experience is a MUST.

· Minimum of 30 years of Progressive experience in Financial Services preferably in a Banks.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic roles within the financial services industry.

· Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.

· Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

· Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

· In-depth knowledge of the financial services sector, including regulatory requirements and

industry best practices.

· Strong Financial management skills, with experience in budgeting , forecasting and cost

optimization.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in handling Loan Business

· Knowledge of digital transformation and fintech innovations.

· Understanding of the Loan business, including market trends, regulatory environment and

competitive Landscape.
