Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree| MBA preferred
- Demonstrated experience in world class technology companies in business development and solution sales for software, hardware or IT services. Extensive CXO level relationships across BFSI, Healthcare, Ecommerce and Agri companies and door opening capabilities
- 12+ years of total experience, at least 8 years working in a similar role

Role Contour
- To drive and deliver B2C segment’s growth as an independent engine by increasing the revenue through expanding the network of new retail customers.
Accountabilities:
- Develop sales & BD strategy to target retail customers; cascade targets direct reports in regional offices
- Prepare and review sales forecasts and ensure that the targets are met by the regional teams in Retail segment
- Jointly own the overall P&L for Retail segment along with Head Enterprise & Retail Business Development & drive achievement of annual targets
- Support Head Enterprise & Retail Business Development & CBO in creation of company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators for retail customers
- Lead customer segmentation in line with the product’s value proposition, customer acquisition and retention for retail segment
- Work closely with Heads of Product and Innovation in CPIO to develop custom value propositions and for go-to-market strategy for retail customers
- Lead a Pan-India BD team for Enterprise & Retail segment and partner closely with Technology, Products and Marketing teams;
- Establish connections with customer research and marketing partners to build, develop ad harness a consumer pipeline
- Understand the competitive landscape and work with marketing to create targeted marketing and digital campaigns to support acquisition of new customers
- Plan sales and marketing activities and prepare yearly, monthly , quarterly/monthly sales goals for each region
- Support CBO in process development, implementation & adoption of technologies within the sales function
- Ensure in-depth knowledge and use cases of company’s offerings are percolated within regional sales teams
- Build strong capability for approaching retail customers, ensuring onboarding on to Protean’s products and long term retention of onboarded customers
