Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for Infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of projects assigned. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge , experience, and confidence to engage and professionally interact with various teams, stakeholders while directly task owners and related personnel in planning, co-ordinating and executing work in accordance with the Scope of work document, Schedule, and budget. This Individual will be playing an integral role in End-to-End project execution.
Job Description:
- Utilize PM profession skills to enhance the level of service and quality of deliverables. Exhibit project leadership in shared services resource environment.
- Complete accountability towards assigned roles and responsibilities
- Manage medium to large IT Infrastructure projects
- Managing stakeholders and their IT requirements by providing appropriate solution andalternatives
- Project administration and key duties, such as task planning, budget tracking and progress reporting
- Coordinating with different teams within IT like Network, Servers, Security, and other functions as appropriate
- As part of Vendor Management, work closely with vendors thereby defining requirements/BOQ negotiations, follow-up and escalate wherever required to avoid delays.
- Ability to collect technical inputs from subject matter expert and create solutions to drive aggressive timelines.
- Allocate resources appropriately to meet program needs and minimize resource contention.
- Coordinate with stakeholder’s meetings to ensure all parties understand the deliveries and milestones and the resources that are assigned.
- Facilitate/Manage solution maturing phase of the project by working with design/solution team.
- Develop detailed implementation plans with all stakeholders and produce during Project kick off meeting
- Manage security deployment and rollout.
- Prepare progress reports for project status to Higher management
- Manage project risks and impending issues
- Work closely towards asset management and procurement and ensure audit compliance.
- Good knowledge towards Annual budget preparation of Capital, expense and tracking spends
- Work with all various delivery team to ensure that all relevant teams are engaged during implementation.
- Prepare reports and dashboard that can be shared with Management.
- Share his/her experience, knowledge,best practices and opportunities with other team members thereby creating new learning opportunity.
Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or 5+ year’s relevant working experience
- 3+ years’ experience in an IT position.
- 3+ years’ experience in IT Project management
- Expertise project governance, tracking and reporting
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office
- IT infrastructure knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of the best practices for project management
- Superb organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Be able to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, in both oral and written contexts, and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback
