| Job Profile | Job Description for Linux Administration L2 / L3 Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service.Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs.Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions and Provide the RCA on the major incidents/problemsProactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, VMware workstations.Create and modify scripts or applications to perform Automation tasksProvide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the Production environmentCollaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies.Good hands on experience on Red hat Enterprise Linux V5/6 System administration and troubleshooting.NFS and LVM ManagementTroubleshooting on issues belongs to virtual serversTo carry out the scheduled activities like Patch management, CIS Hardening.Scripting knowledge (Bash , Ansible, Python )Hands on experience in physical Servers and VMware is optional.Plan/Schedule/coordinate and implement critical changesManage backup processes and perform data recoveries as needed. Good Communication Shall be able to co-ordinate with various stakeholders MSO Knowledge Query Building in Databases Timely Closure of Tickets Chase to ensure no Pending tickets in bin Shall be a process oriented person Shall be flexible to take on added responsibilities Inclination to take accountability of the work assigned till the same is closed |
