- Job Title: Pre-Sales Professional for Data Analytics and Software Solutions
Responsibilities:
Solution Proposals: Lead the development of data analytics and software solution proposals, including defining technical architectures, methodologies, and preparing persuasive proposal presentations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their data analytics and software solution needs. Facilitate effective communication and alignment throughout the pre-sales process.
Complete Pre-Sales Cycle: Manage the entire pre-sales cycle, including lead identification, qualification, and funnel management for data analytics and software solutions.
Opportunity Planning: Strategically plan and oversee opportunities for data analytics and software solutions, both internally and externally, to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document detailed requirements for data analytics and software solutions, and communicate them effectively to relevant stakeholders and technical teams.
Market Research: Continuously monitor data analytics and software technology trends, industry best practices, and competitor offerings to inform pre-sales strategies.
Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of data analytics and software solutions, including emerging technologies and their application.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 8 years in technology solution selling, with a specific focus on data analytics and software solutions.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred, and additional certifications in data analytics or software development are advantageous.
Skills:
Data Analytics and Software Expertise: Strong understanding of data analytics, software development, and their application in solving business challenges.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex solutions to clients and stakeholders.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Bid Management: Experience in crafting and managing bids for data analytics and software solutions, including pricing strategies and market positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, legal, and commercial teams.
Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data analytics and software market trends, pricing models, and activation strategies.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years of dedicated experience in pre-sales or consulting for data analytics and software solutions.
Proven success in solution selling and a comprehensive understanding of data analytics and software technologies and applications.
