Job Description-:
Exp: 6- to 12 years: Presales Application Solution Architect
Presales Application Solution Architect will be responsible for providing technical solutions and proposal creation to potential clients/customers and responding to RFP/RFI/RFQ. He will work with sales/bidding teams to understand customer needs, analyse technical requirements, and propose solutions that fit the customer’s needs present in RFP.
A few of the keys task the Presales Application Solution Architect will typically execute will be below:
- Create a solution strategy & then a solution & then stitch an E2E solution aligned with customer requirements
- Presenting and defending comprehensive solutions to customers and running solution workshops.
- Creating Solutions for customers’ requirements coming as part of RFP.
- Lead architectural discussions and solution workshops for design exercises to create large-scale E2E solutions and mapping requirements to solution/service catalogues
- Application creation/modernisation using Cloud-native/PaaS services like cloud functions, web apps or containerised solutions.
- Knowledge of Modernizing applications, 6/7 R principles, Architecture types like N-Tier architecture, web-Que-worker, Microservices architecture, etc
- Knowledge on various Open source tools/systems is a must
- Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Create E2E Proposal for RFP as part of RFP responses and cost estimation.
- Creating proposals, presentations, and other sales materials to showcase technical solutions.
- Working with development teams to understand technical limitations and feasibility of proposed solutions. Collaborating with other solution architects and technical teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Designing the overall structure of the application, including its database, user interface, and underlying software components.
- Collaborating with other members of the development team, such as developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure that the application meets the requirements
- Collaborating with External Clients to identify requirements and develop technical strategies to meet there business needs.
- Designing software architectures and solutions that align with the RFP’s technical and business requirements.
- Defining technical standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the quality of the software solution.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and software products to meet the software solution requirements coming as part of the RFP requirement.
- Identifying potential risks and limitations of the application’s architecture and proposing solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Ensuring that the application is scalable and can accommodate growth in usage and data.
- Ensuring that the application adheres to industry best practices and standards, such as those related to security and data privacy.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends in software development and making recommendations on how to incorporate them into the application architecture.
- Must have knowledge of any Cloud Services (GCP/Azure/AWS/OCI) and the ability to build Technical solution on Cloud as well.
- Experience on Frontend, API and database from an Application Architecture perspective.
- Expertise in Container Orchestration engine and have worked on containerisation tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and other technologies. Expertise in Microservice architecture.
- Hands-on experience and expertise with cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Full understanding of Automation, integration with upstream and downstream applications and/or processes.
